Over a million eager fans will pack out the banks of the world famous Danube to watch the spectacular Red Bull Air Race. The worlds top pilots will test their resolve in a high-speed, low altitude encounter based on speed, precision and skill as they try to complete the challenging slalom obstacle course in the shortest time possible. The pilots compete individually against the clock, flying through specially designed 19m (62ft) high pylons known as 'air gates'. The event will start and finish at the iconic Chain Bridge in the heart of the city, and one of the tasks awaiting the pilots is to navigate their way, at speed, underneath it!
