There was another deserved second place for Dani Pedrosa at Misano, as the Spanish Honda rider continues to make up for lost time earlier in the MotoGP season.
Hola a todos…
Another grand prix in which things have gone very well. The truth is that second place this weekend at Misano is a further step to continue adding confidence. The team worked hard to make it a good race, and getting on the podium at the end of the day was important to maintain the positive sequence from when we arrived in Indianapolis.
We knew how important it was to reach the final leg of the race with the tyres in top condition and we worked throughout the weekend to that end. We took care of every detail with the equipment, and in that regard I think we had a good set-up, so we finished the race well as a result. Today was very difficult to beat Jorge [Lorenzo, winner of the race].
'I want to maximise this final part of the championship'
Every race that passes I feel more comfortable on the bike and that is very important in view of further progress in this final leg of the championship.
Despite having a week without racing, all thoughts turn to Aragon and the GP there. I have good memories of last year and I’m looking forward to returning to race at Motorland. I’ll take the opportunity to rest for a couple of days and then return to prepare properly for the GP. I want to maximise this final part of the championship to maintain the continuity that, unfortunately, I could not have during the part of this season when I was out injured.
Next week we’ll take a little look at the Motorland circuit and I’ll get you up to speed with how my week has gone.
Thanks for being there!
Saludos
Dani
